Defining Derrida’s Cat with Matthew Calarco

This week’s Defining HAS video series addition is by Matthew Calarco, Professor of Philosophy at Cal State University Fullerton, who has been tasked with explaining the concept of “Derrida’s Cat.”

Matthew Calarco is Associate Professor of Philosophy at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches courses in Continental philosophy, ethics, and social and political philosophy. His research lies at the intersection of animal studies, environmental studies, and radical social justice movements. His most recent book is Thinking Through Animals: Identity, Difference, Indistinction (Stanford UP 2015).
