The Animals & Society Institute provides scholars with research, publications, and other resources to advance the Human-Animal Studies field.

Resources for Faculty

ASI provides a number of resources for faculty and instructors including books for teaching human-animal studies, syllabi, and our Defining Human-Animal Studies video series among others.

Resources for Students

ASI has developed resources like our human-animal studies degree and certificate program repository. Here, you will also find our undergraduate peer-reviewed journal Sloth, and other resources for students in higher learning environments.

Resources for Practitioners

ASI offers a number of resources for professionals in law enforcement as well as social workers, mental health providers, and others interested in reducing violence towards animals and people to promote the human-animal bond. Resources on AniCare®, and BARK can be found here.
