Biography
Billie is the author of an award winning book and the host of three podcasts on animal welfare and canine behavior. She has been featured in Psychology Today Magazine, Roku TV, and LA Tribune for her innovative work in canine behavior. Billie is an expert in Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the creator of an evidence-based methodology addressing behaviors in adolescent and adopted dogs leading to surrender, abuse and euthanasia. She was accepted into the PhD program at Antioch without acquiring a Master's Degree based on her three decades of success and impact in the field of canine behavior and animal welfare. Billie is interested in pursuing connections in the areas of human-canine bond, canine cognition and animal welfare with the goal of having a research study published in a journal.
