Society & Animals Journal Archive
Since 1993 and in conjunction with the internationally recognized Brill, ASI produces Society & Animals, a quarterly journal containing peer reviewed studies concerning nonhuman animals from psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science and other social sciences and history, literary criticism, and other disciplines of the humanities. Recent articles suggest the scope of the journal: “Dolphins in Popular Literature and Media”; “More than a Furry Companion: The Ripple Effect of Companion Animals on Neighborhood Interactions and Sense of Community”; and “An Investigation into the Association between the Witnessing of Animal Abuse and Adolescents’ Behavior toward Animals.”
